This project involved the replacement of existing 12kV 1200Amps Sectionizing Substation 'A' with a new modern substation and replacement of nearly 20,000' of existing 12kV underground power cables. The new substation included draw-out type (4) main circuit breakers that interconnected the switchgear into the existing double ring type power grid serving the Base. Project also included the replacement of existing 12kV underground cables with new MV105 type 15kV rated underground cables.
