Cory Murphy, PE, is a Principal and the Chief Operations Officer of ELEN Consulting, Inc., with extensive experience in the design of electrical power protection and distribution for low- and medium-voltage systems. His project portfolio spans commercial, industrial, and residential applications, where he has delivered reliable and efficient power system solutions tailored to complex project needs.
Cory’s technical expertise includes photovoltaic grid interconnections, generator systems, and power infrastructure for industrial manufacturing facilities. Over the course of his career, Cory has developed a strong command of national and regional electrical codes, including NEC, IECC, IES, and NESC. He is accomplished in the use of advanced modeling tools such as SKM and Paladin for coordination, short circuit, and arc flash studies, and has produced detailed electrical documentation. His work also extends to sustainable design, with integrated solar power and photovoltaic systems contributing to LEED-certified facilities in both public and private sectors.
