460 16th St (Shift Tower)

Project Overview

Encompassing 631,000 square feet, the Shift mixed-use community takes up an entire city block. The 21-story residential high-rise boasts a pool on the rooftop deck and the two low-rise residential buildings sit over two levels of above-grade commercial retail space and parking. In total, the three buildings have 368 apartment homes, ranging from 600-square-foot studios to 1,200-square-foot two-bedroom apartments, and 19,000 square feet of retail space.

The project has been submitted to the US Green Building Council for LEED for Homes designation, which recognizes buildings that are designed and built to be healthy, durable homes that use fewer resources and produce less waste.
