Project Overview
The 13,500 sq. ft. Alpine Branch Library in Alpine, California, is a modern community hub with study rooms, a family homework center, outdoor reading patios, and flexible program spaces that support literacy, learning, and civic engagement. ELEN Consulting provided electrical engineering, lighting design, and LEED assistance to help the library achieve Zero Net Energy performance. Our work ensured the building uses significantly less power, takes advantage of natural daylight, and maintains consistent comfort for patrons and staff. These upgrades make the library environmentally responsible, cost-efficient to operate, and a reliable community resource.
