The San Diego Humane Society’s El Cajon Campus is a 14,000 sq ft animal shelter that provides adoption, veterinary, grooming, and administrative services, with capacity for more than 200 animals and flexibility for future expansion. The facility includes kennels with indoor-outdoor access, species-specific housing areas, exercise yards, and support spaces designed to promote animal health and reduce stress. ELEN Consulting provided electrical, lighting, and telecommunication system designs, delivering reliable power, energy-efficient lighting, and connectivity to support daily shelter operations, animal care functions, and community programming.
