Project Overview
Lakeside Fire Station No. 2 serves as the administrative and operational hub for the Lakeside Fire Protection District in San Diego County, replacing a smaller facility with a 22,500 square foot two-story station that includes apparatus bays, bunk rooms, fitness and dayroom areas, a training classroom, dispatch, and administrative offices to support roughly 60,000 local residents across a 55-square-mile area. ELEN Consulting provided electrical engineering, emergency generator design, lighting design, and telecommunications systems—developing essential power, lighting, backup systems, and low-voltage infrastructure to support 24/7 emergency response, administrative efficiency, and life-safety communication throughout the station and associated facilities.
