The Lyle & Grace Prescott Memorial Prayer Chapel is a 600 sq ft sanctuary on the Point Loma cliffs, designed with a single-aisle layout, wood filigree ceiling, and three prayer niches that emphasize simplicity and symbolism. ELEN Consulting provided electrical engineering and lighting design, delivering subtle, indirect lighting systems aimed at enhancing the chapel’s ambiance without detracting from architectural intent. Our design included hidden light sources and strategically placed “star” accent lighting to softly the chapel’s intimate atmosphere.
