Project Overview
As part of a districtwide Power Purchase Agreement, Tustin Unified School District (USD) implemented a 6.0-megawatt photovoltaic system across 15 school sites, using carport and shade structures to support solar panel installation. The program reduces long-term utility costs while providing shaded parking and outdoor areas for students, staff, and visitors. ELEN Consulting delivered the electrical engineering and Photovoltaic (PV) system design required to integrate these solar arrays with existing campus infrastructure, along with lighting design to ensure safety and usability beneath the new canopies. Our design work helped the district advance its sustainability goals while improving the daily campus environment. We also completed similar projects for the Morongo Unified School District and the Palm Springs Unified School District.
